Summer Events:
You will find us on Wareham Quay every Wednesday in August for our themed evenings from 6pm until 10pm where there will be live music, local food, licensed drinks and refreshments available, plus fairground style stalls and small children's rides. Public and accessible toilets can be found on the Quay.
All events have a firework display at 9.45pm and the events finish at 10pm.
Each week we have a chosen charity we are collecting for; remember to take some spare change if you have any and please feel free to show your appreciation for your evening of fun and throw your coins into our collection buckets...thank you!
Autumn Bonfire & Fireworks Event:
Join us at Wareham Recreational ground for an unforgettable evening at our Bonfire & Fireworks Night! Get ready for a spectacular display of live entertainment, delicious food, and family fun. Enjoy the electrifying live music, savour a variety of treats from the food stalls, and relax with drinks from the fully stocked bar. Be mesmerised by thrilling fire shows, tuck into a sizzling BBQ, and let the kids (and adults!) enjoy the excitement of the funfair. It's a night filled with laughter, warmth, and stunning fireworks that you won’t want to miss!
Bring your family and friends along and make incredible memories under the stars.

2025 Events
August 6th ~
VE/VJ Day | 80 Year Celebration
Join us for our first themed Wareham Wednesdays event of 2025 where we will be commemorating 80 years since the end of World War II.
Expect a nostalgic trip back in time, come dressed in your best 40s party attire and enjoy themed live music from vintage trio The Silhouette Show and admire authentic military vehicles on display.
On stage we will also have the brilliant Emma Hardy Band playing live and the one and only Jamie Jambo children's entertainer with his 'not your average magic show' show!

August 13th ~ Wheelbarrow Race
We are excited to be bringing back a firm favourite on the Wareham Wednesdays calendar...our infamous fancy dress Wheelbarrow Race...!
Come along to watch the crazy spectacle and cheer on your favourite team as they battle it out to win the coveted winner's trophy! Stopping off to 'rehydrate' at various watering holes en route to the finishing line! Fun to watch or take part in!

August 20th ~
Pirate Invasion
Grab your spyglass, keep a look out and prepare to get drenched when the Poole Pirates return to invade Wareham Quay and do battle with their water cannons and musket water guns at the ready! But never fear the mighty Muddlecombe Men will be on hand to help defend the town!

Raft Race
The raft race is ideal for families, friends, and thrill-seekers alike, and the perfect event to round off our programme of summer entertainment.
Gather your crew, build your raft, and prepare to paddle your way to glory. Whether you're here to compete, cheer on your favourites, or just enjoy the atmosphere, the raft race promises laughter, teamwork, and adventure.
