To support each of the four summer evening events in August we welcome volunteers to help set-up, manage and close-down each Wednesday.

Please note that the events are across four weeks during the school summer holidays.

In general, the responsibilities are:

Site Preparation

• Set up temporary barriers at the entrance to the Quay and communicate closure to new arrivals.

Set Up

• Set up the bar and merchandise stalls, roadblocks, safety barriers and refuse bins before the events. Liaise with stall holders as to their position on the site map.

During the Event

• Work behind the bar and merchandise stalls, collect charity donations.
• Keep areas clean and tidy, litter picking and emptying refuse bins as required.
• Keep event goers safe and informed.

Close Down

• Take down the bar and merchandise stalls, roadblocks and barriers.
• Clear litter in the event area and store refuse bins.
